Construction Notices
Construction activities for the Long Term Water Supply Program (LTWSP) projects are currently underway. Residents near the project areas may be contacted during portions of the work to inform them of upcoming activities. Updates on scheduled construction activities which may affect the general public will be posted here periodically for general awareness and planning.
If you have specific questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us via the e-mail communication link on this website or call our Program Team at 931-901-3683.
It is very important to CPWS to continue as a local partner with our neighbors as we implement this critical infrastructure program. We appreciate your patience and consideration as we proceed with construction.

Upcoming work on Nashville Highway in front of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) includes construction of (left and right) turn lanes and widening of the main driveway at the plant entrance. This roadway work is expected to start in January 2027. Nashville Highway will remain open (both directions) during this work activity.

Construction on the Raw Water Transmission Main (RWTM) is expected to begin in late November on multiple segments of the alignment. However, preconstruction activities including sub-surface investigations, public outreach, and pre-blasting surveys will begin in late September 2026.
Pre-blasting surveys include documentation of the site and property conditions prior to commencement of construction (trenching) activities which may include blasting. We expect to encounter rock in portions of the RWTM alignment which may require blasting for trench construction.
Tree removal activities along the RWTM alignment will commence in October 2026 and be completed by March 2027.n text goes here
